This policy applies to all users of the Association's Social Welfare System.
In its commitment to protecting beneficiaries' privacy and safeguarding their personal data, the Association ensures that all data, information, and documents submitted through the Social Welfare System are subject to the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Law issued by Royal Decree No. (6/2022) and its Executive Regulations (2024/34).
The Association collects and processes the personal data necessary to review requests for assistance and social services submitted by low-income families, orphans, widows, individuals in need, and other eligible categories. This is carried out for purposes related to providing social services and assistance, managing requests, verifying eligibility, improving service quality, and fulfilling relevant legal and regulatory obligations.
The Association is committed to processing personal data lawfully, fairly, and transparently, and to implementing appropriate technical, administrative, and organizational measures to protect data against loss, damage, alteration, disclosure, or unauthorized access, while maintaining its confidentiality and using it only for the purposes for which it was collected or as otherwise permitted by law.
The data submitted may include sensitive personal data necessary for reviewing certain social cases, including health, social, or financial data related to the assistance request. The Association is committed to processing and protecting such data in accordance with applicable legal controls and requirements.
As a data subject, you have the rights established under the Personal Data Protection Law, including the right to access your personal data and obtain a copy of it, request its correction, updating, or restriction, request its erasure where permitted by law, request its transfer to another controller in accordance with applicable regulations, withdraw consent to processing where legally permissible, and be notified of any personal data breach in accordance with the provisions of the law.
You also have the right to submit a request to exercise any of these rights through the Association's approved channels. The Association will review such requests and respond to them in accordance with the procedures and timeframes set out in the Personal Data Protection Law and its Executive Regulations.
The Association retains personal data for the period necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected, or for the period required by applicable laws, regulations, and legal obligations, after which it is destroyed or anonymized in accordance with approved procedures.
Personal data may also be shared, when necessary and to the extent required, with competent government authorities, relevant parties, approved service providers, or regulatory bodies, in accordance with the provisions of the law and applicable regulations, and in a manner that serves the beneficiary's interest and preserves the confidentiality of their data.
The applicant is required to provide correct, accurate, and up-to-date data, information, and documents, and bears responsibility for the accuracy of the data and documents submitted through the system. The Association reserves the right to verify their accuracy and to request any additional documents or information when necessary, in accordance with applicable regulations and procedures.
